This is an insert / organizer for Quacks of Quedlinburg, the full Herb Witches expansion, the locoweed recipe books and general fortune cards from the Alchemists expansion, the BGG GeekUp bits, and the BGG GeekUp bags. It has no lid lift, supports premium sleeves (Gamegenic Prime shown in the photos), supports vertical storage, and was designed to aid setup and teardown.

There are a lot of great Quacks inserts out there already. I decided to make this version to support the way I like to set up and play. While I like playing the Alchemists expansion from time to time, we primarily like to mix in only the Alchemists recipes and the fortune cards that are not Alchemists-specific. Anything that is specific to the Alchemists, I store separately.

Here are a few features of the insert:

Separate player trays that hold the player components, including their starting ingredients, witch coins, overflow pot from Herb Witches, components specific to their player color (e.g., scoring marker), and their BGG GeekUp bag.
A consolidated in-game tray that holds sleeved fortune cards, rubies, and the white 1-chips that are added to the player bags in Round 6.
Separate trays for each ingredient type/color, with a curved front lip and a slot in the rear to hold each recipe up at an angle (similar to the slots I had on my Cubitos insert from a few years ago). Each set of ingredients generally has a different number of 1, 2, and 4 chips, so most of the trays are unique and have slots specifically sized for that color’s chip quantities. I decided not to add markings to the trays themselves to identify which colors go into each tray, but once you load them up the first time, you will always know which color goes back into each (unless you run into the unlikely scenario where two of the trays are completely depleted during a game).
Stands to hold up the Herb Witches, similar to how the ingredient trays hold up the recipes.
A custom-shaped spacer that holds the player pots in the base of the box. I usually prefer to place player boards on top, but due to their odd shape and because essentially every tray has to come out of the box during setup anyway, I opted to place them in the bottom.
As shown in the photos, this was designed with the Northstar version of the game with an interior box dimension of 290 x 290 x 70 mm. Based on comments online, I believe it will also work with versions published by others. However, you may want to double-check your box dimensions before printing. I do not have the Big Box.

The images show how to layer everything in the box, as well as providing closer images of some of the trays.
